The Western Bank of Scotland
Established 1832 at Glasgow. In 1845 the Ayshire Banking Co. was purchased as well as th Greenock Banking Co, the Dundee Union Bank and the Pailsley Comm'l. Banking Co. The National Bank of Scotland absorbed the Western Bank of Scvotland in 1870.
