BACKGROUNDER

Benjamin Franklin was one of the Founding Fathers of the United States. He was a leading author, printer, political theorist, politician, Freemason, postmaster, scientist, inventor, humorist, civic activist, statesman, and diplomat.

Franklin Társulat (Franklin Company) was a Hungarian printer/publisher and it is not known as to whether he established it or it was named after him? They printed books and also during the 1919 emergency, they printed some emergency banknotes, possible the one above?
