Hijaz            Coin - 1/2 Piastre AH1334 Yr. 8 

The above Hejaz 1/2 Piastre coin is extremely rare and only one of two pieces extant. Both coins were found by a collector who speculates that they were kept as souvenirs by Haj pilgrims and later sold to a bazaar dealer. They were obtained from the bazaar dealer as part of a group of coins, unknown to the buyer at the time of the purchase.
