Banco do Brasil bill, which was authorized to issue paper money between 1923 and 1926. The one Conto de Réis notes corresponded to one million Réis.





One Conto de Réis - Caixa de Estabilização (Stabilization Board) Notes

Issued in 1926, together with other notes with values from 1,000 to 10 Réis, this note was exchanged for gold ingots and coins, with the purpose of building a reserve to make Brazilian money stronger. The Board was not successful and closed in 1930.
